Welcome to CVS 1st Steps, an exciting website developed by Nuneaton and Bedworth Council for Voluntary Service and funded by Warwickshire County Council.
‘CVS 1st Steps offers charities, community groups, voluntary organisations and / or community practitioners a number of useful free resources. This site will be useful for anyone involved in starting up a new group or developing their existing group. Some documents appear on their respective pages but please visit our search archive for more documents.
These resources can be used by groups or individuals for their own use, but it is also highly recommended that groups use the added support available from your local Council for Voluntary Service or Volunteer Centre (see contacts page). It is NOT intended to replace the need to seek advice from an Accountant, Solicitor or relevant professional, but may be used as a ‘First Step’ in these consultations, thus saving expensive time.
